David, Lorna & Louisa (and Jenson, our friendly and laid-back chocolate Labrador), welcome you to The Old Mill Bed & Breakfast. Ours is a well appointed, family run B&B in Bere Regis, Dorset. Our aim is to give you a comfortable and memorable stay in the heart of Hardy's Dorset. Our own home is the former Miller's cottage adjoining the former water mill which we renovated over the winter of 2011/2012. We have created four brand new bedrooms and en-suite bathrooms within the 18th Century building. Our intention was to create modern facilities and comfort within a delightful period property. We have retained some of the traditional mill features, including a view of the original mill race. Room rates include full English or Continental breakfast and complimentary teas and coffee. We also offer free Wi-Fi internet and have plenty of parking. We are centrally located and easy to find, making The Old Mill B&B the ideal place to base yourself for your stay in Dorset or for a convenient stop-over en route to other destinations. Please visit our website for our rates. The Shepherds Hut can be set up with a 4’ 6” double bed, or with twin beds. It has full electric hook-up for your convenience, including a heater, kettle and electric lighting. So that you may better enjoy the quiet location it doesn’t have a TV, radio or internet connection! There is a ‘camp kitchen’, with a camping gas stove set up under a side awning for you to self cater and cook your favorite breakfast. Alternatively, particularly if the Hut is taken in conjunction with a B&B room, breakfast may be taken in the Breakfast Room, by prior arrangement for a supplement. Prices include all linen, towels, cutlery and crockery and utensils that you’ll need for the duration of your stay with us. There is an indoor toilet and shower room for your use nearby.
