Wynford Guest House is an attractive house which is set above the town, about 8 minutes walk from the centre on a lane giving open access to the fells. The elevated position gives fine views across the valley to Loughrigg fell. From the house you can choose easy or serious walks right from our doorstep. The house is very peaceful, welcoming and comfortable, with spacious rooms, well equipped and furnished and decorated to a high standard throughout. Good local produce is used to provide a plentiful traditional breakfast. Our own hens normally provide us with tasty free-range eggs for breakfast and we also offer lighter or vegetarian alternatives to our guests. There is adequate private parking and hardly any traffic so you are guaranteed a peaceful stay at Wynford Guest House. We look forward to welcoming you!
