Our delightful National Trust Bed and Breakfast Farmhouse is set in extensive lawns and gardens just three miles from the medieval town of Shrewsbury.

The house is a haven of peace,comfort and elegance. It has been beautifully decorated and refurbished. The drawing room has sumptuous sofas and a wonderful log fire.


Enjoy our lovely farmhouse breakfast made with local Shropshire produce.
Surrounding the bed and breakfast are a fantastic range of outbuildings with stables and 450 acres of farmland which leads down to the River Severn.
A few steps across the garden will take you to our vegetable garden and orchard - why not choose something fresh for your supper.

Elegant and stylish rooms- fur throws on each bed, comfy chairs and fluffy white towels allow you to relax and pamper yourself.
All our bedrooms have televisions, tea/coffee making facilities and hair driers.

Just across the yard we have a cookery school.
Brompton Cookery School is the perfect environment for cookery enthusiasts or novices to develop their culinary skills.Brompton Cookery School is based in a beautiful barn conversion within a collection of original farm buildings. A stunning, purpose built kitchen allows for the tuition of sixteen people. The cookery school also has a stylish dining room for you to enjoy the dishes you create.
The cookery school offers a range of day, half day as well as bespoke cookery courses. In addition, there are demonstration and dine evenings, where a host of talented chefs, including those from Michelin star and other high calibre establishments will demonstrate a range of dishes which the guests will then enjoy for dinner.
