Thorniewhats Bed & Breakfast is located at Thorniewhats Farm which is part of the majestic Buccleugh Estate just a 2 minute drive from the A7. Offering traditional family run accommodation with a friendly and peaceful atmosphere,the rooms are spacious and presented to a high standard. All bedding is anti-allergy and laundered with non-biological products.

Thorniewhats Bed and Breakfast is near the village of Canonbie just North of Carlisle and Longtown and South of Langholm. The ideal place to stay in South West Scotland. The farm is a working livery yard which adds colour and interest to your stay.

On your arrival, enjoy a pot of tea and a slice of homemade cake, after which you may want to explore the local area. You may of course simply wish to relax in the garden, and then visit one of the local pubs for your evening meal, returning for a peaceful night's sleep.

Breakfast can be served early for our busy business guests or at a more leisurely hour for your pleasure.

We offer a traditional farm house breakfast with products sourced locally where we can. If you have any special dietary requirements, then please let us know in advance.

The accommodation is tastefully furnished and decorated to a high standard with en suite facilities or private bathrooms.The guest lounge is well appointed and you are welcome to provide your own alcohol should you so wish.

We can accommodate singles, couples and families and have kennels available for dogs.

Stables are roomy and airy with everything your horse might need on site.
Our horse holidays are proving very popular.
