Black Burn Lodge is a newly constructed eco-friendly dwelling with 3 en-suite letting rooms and guest lounge with spectacular views of the Liddel Water and the rural landscape of the Scottish Borders. All rooms are provided with tea and coffee making facilities, TV , dressing gowns and luxury toiletries. Comfortable king size beds with duvets and extra pillows. Breakfast is out sourced to the highly acclaimed cafe 'The Olive Tree' in the centre of the village a 2 minute drive or 10 minute walk to hone the appetite. We are located in the village of Newcastleton, a 5 minute walk to the local amenities of the village, shops pubs and eateries. The area is steeped in the history of the Borders dark past, with the family feuds of the Border Reivers at the forefront, Newcastleton is the seat of the Elliot clan with the Armstrong and Scott clans not far away. Kielder Water Forest Park is a short drive away and offers a wide variety of leisure activities ,cycling walking sailing fishing. Kielder Observatory offers fantastic views of the universe enjoying the darkest skies in Europe.
