Sonachan House is a conveniently situated, licensed, family-run hotel which has been established for many years. Our hotel has eight en-suite bedrooms, all of which are centrally heated and have colour television, clock radio, hair dryer and tea and coffee making facilities. We have a selection of rooms available, from single rooms to family rooms for five persons. We are sure that we will have the accommodation that meets your requirements. We have a well stocked bar and are proud to offer a selection of real ales from Paignton's local brewery, Bays Brewery. We are ideally situated being in the heart of the English Riviera. We are close to the many attractions of Paignton including the beach, pier, steam train, harbour (many trips available) and the green where there is nearly always something happening during the main season. Goodrington beach is also only a short walk away where you will find many water attractions, e.g. pedaloes. You will also find easy access to the South West Coastal Path there. Paignton Zoo is also close by and we are in an ideal location for exploring Dartmoor, South Devon and beyond. For the rare wet day try the nearby Torbay Leisure centre or multiplex cinema. Paignton & Dartmouth Steam Railway is a must for all ages whatever the weather.
