    Join us in our recently renovated snug bar for a pint of local ale, sit down for a seasonal supper in one of our dining rooms or stay a while in one of our country bedrooms. The pub was the first of a large Dorset breweries back in 1777 but is now in the private ownership of the farm just over the road. In summer 2019 it has been treated to some refurbishment creating the perfect blend of a traditional country inn with a contemporary classic hotel. We have now got additional facilities for business meetings, large functions and special event nights. Our talented team of chefs are able to cater for events regardless of size or function style and our tasting nights are sure to win you over if you are planning to utilise our facilities for your catering needs.
