Helstone House has recently been totally refurbished, stripping away the centuries to reveal a lovely warm and comfy home from which to enjoy your stay with us. Although brand new we have a high standard of accommodation and will be going for our Star rating award shortly. We aim to make your stay with us a wonderful memory as we have excellent facilities and a breakfast you will enjoy.
Why not try the luxury of a suite, which is two rooms adjoining each other so you can either have it set out as a as a sitting room/dressing room with bed settee and flat screen TV/DVD with the adjoining bedroom a king size bed and flat screen TV and power shower en suite with heated towel rail and a selection of toiletries for you use.
Or if you have a family then we can change the accommodation to a bed from the bed settee (a small double) and the children can have their own TV/DVD so they can play games or watch their favourite DVDs whilst you enjoy your own private space with the use of two very comfortable chairs.
We can also offer a double room with a power shower en suite with heated towel rail and luxury toiletries for your use, a flat screen TV and two Lloyd Loom chairs with an oak table to sit and watch TV or just to relax and read a book.
All our beds have luxurious Egyptian cotton sheets and pillowcases so are very soft.
The en suite shower rooms have quadrant showers with plenty of hot water and plenty of storage for all your toiletry needs..
All rooms have a Flat screen TVs, hairdryers and fluffy white towels with toiletries and grooming kit provided. We can also provide an alarm clock if required.
We also have a travel cot that can be used in the suite of rooms and can provide a highchair if required.
Our aim is to make your stay a happy and memorable one
We have a sitting room where you can sit and relax or read a book or play games as we have a selection you can choose from. The garden is a work in progress and we have ample parking.
We serve your breakfast in our conservatory with outstanding countryside views of rolling hills looking towards Port Isaac.
When it comes to eating out you are spoilt for choice from many fine local restaurants to the local hostelry the Mason's Arms and if you want a take away we have an award winning fish & chips shop Peckish which really must be tried. There is also a Ghurkha restaurant where you can get a take away curry or the local Chinese is not to be missed either. Because we want you to really enjoy yourself in our home we don't mind you bringing back a takeaway and a bottle or two (for the courtesy of other guests not too late please).
We can also provide packed lunches if you're off on a jaunt for the day with a selection of sandwiches and homemade cakes; please order the night before.
You may even get to glimpse our 3 moggies; Mog, Meg and Smudge who like to keep themselves away from people so you may not even see them, apart from Smudge who loves to be cuddled.
