London City Airport is situated in the Royal Docks, just east of Canary Wharf so is in a very central location in the City. Easily reached by using the DLR (Docklands Light Railway) or the London Underground.

It’s a much smaller airport than its counterparts in London but in 2015 it served 4.3 million passengers. Due to its runway size the largest aircraft that can be flow out of London City Airport is the airbus A318.

The airport is quite young in comparison to others with the first landing taking place there in 1987.
