Description

Nestling in the heart of Dentdale, a few miles from the market town of Sedbergh, rests one of the quaintest and prettiest villages in the Yorkshire Dales National Park. Situated in idyllic countryside, within easy reach of the lake District and the West Coast, Dent provides the perfect holiday base. The George and Dragon has two spacious dining areas serving home cooked meals. We offer two sittings for evening meals, All of our foods are locally sourced produce from the Yorkshire Dales The George and Dragon is well over a hundred years old and is the best place to sample some of Dent Brewery's award winning ales. Britain's most remote brewery certainly has a knack for producing top-quality ales. We have ten comfortable recently redecorated bedrooms, all with en-suite facilities. All the rooms have colour television and free tea and coffee making facilities
