Description

You will always get a warm and friendly welcome at Puddle Duck Lodge, our picturesque cottage. Built from traditional Lakeland stone in 1864 on the quiet Biskey Howe Road it is the ideal base for whatever type of break you choose. Choose from 3 attractive Individually designed rooms. Including a beautiful suite, a romantic four poster and a single, all overlooking our cottage garden. We have seating areas in the pretty garden, free wifi, and free parking in our own private adjoining car park. Some of our rooms are dog friendly, please enquire with us direct before booking to avoid disappointment, you may be surprised at how many shops, pubs and eateries are dog friendly too! We only accept small dogs and charge £20 for the first night and just £5 for subsequent nights. Please note we do not allow dogs to be left alone. Ordered breakfasts will be delivered to your room at your chosen time. Each room has a table and chairs for your comfort so you may eat at your leisure. This can also take out the worry of where to leave your dog whilst having breakfast. There is a vast array of activities in the area including The Royalty our local traditional cinema only a 2-minute walk away, the World of Beatrix Potter Attraction, 5 minutes, the new Jetty Museum, 10 minutes, The Old Laundry Theatre 7 mins and gorgeous views from Biskey Howe View 7 mins and just 10 minutes to the pier and lake cruises. We aim to greet you personally on arrival but if not available you can self check-in; full instructions will be emailed. For flexible and room only rates, payment is due on arrival although 7 days before arrival your card will be validated for the full amount, but no money will be charged. Non-refundable reservations may be charged in full at any time.
