This old coaching inn in North Wales retains original features and offers free parking, free WiFi, and a cosy bar and restaurant. Each room at The Grapes Hotel has a flat-screen TV and tea/coffee making facilities. The rooms have modern en-suite bathrooms. Our cottages are snug, small and traditional. The restaurant offers home-cooked dishes. The bar serves a good selection of ales, wines and whiskeys. WE RECOMMEND YOU BOOK A TABLE IN ADVANCE AS THE RESTAURANT IS BUSY ALL YEAR ROUND. Maentwrog is located in the centre of the Snowdonia region, giving easy access to the area’s other towns. The busy coastal town of Porthmadog is a 13-minute drive, with Dolgellau, beside the Cader Idris Mountains, just under 30 minutes away. PLEASE NOTE THAT WE CURRENTLY HAVE RENOVATION WORKS IN OUR GARDEN AND THAT OUR CHILDREN'S PLAY AREA IS NOT ACCESSIBLE UNTIL LATE MARCH 2023.
